walt francis Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I just used 1/8" Alum. tube a piece of wire hanger and piece of plastic
mannyclub Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Very cool walt! Alot of diorama builders could use this tip! Jack stands are sometimes hard to come by and to make your own is cheaper and they still look good. Manny
mrglubaum Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I know this will be revealing my age, we used to use old Ford (pre-'49)axle housings for jack stands! I made a set from the AMT '40 Willys kit, but there are a lot of kits that had the separate housings, including kits that had Quick-change rear ends.
ChrisBcritter Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Try posting the picture directly in your message, Walt - this is what I see when I try to open it. Some photo hosting sites always do this here.
Belugawrx Posted April 23, 2019 Posted April 23, 2019 Well the post is 13 years old.... and Walt hasn't been on in 6 years,...so...

Maybe we all should go back to the first page of threads none of the forum's sections and reply to some random thread there to bring it back to the top? Lots of fun all around!
NOBLNG Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 If you do the site:modelcarsmag.com subject search on google it can dig up some pretty old threads also.
