outragis Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Looks awesome! Going to have to use that color on my 63 convertable Chevy II
slammedi'am Posted August 24, 2013 Author Posted August 24, 2013 Thanks everyone.......I was finally able to start BMF on the body tonight.....Also got the rear supsension setup and working on the front still....Also about to tackle the hood
Mike Kucaba Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I like this build and the color is perfect. I'm confused that you didn't have the hood done when you painted the body. Will the hood be black? Metallics are hard to match in my experience. Nice build whatever,I had a '66 Chevy II SS many years ago.
slammedi'am Posted August 24, 2013 Author Posted August 24, 2013 I spray from a can and usually count my coats and spray it all the same
Jeremy Jon Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) Looking good Shane, paint looks great, and nice colour choice!! Like the chrome on sides and window trim added, personally IMO the hood would look better without the big bulge, or at least greatly reduced, and just the ZR1 style window grafted in, given the rear tire size used, but if you put some significant meats on the rear, then the big hood bulge would fit the look, if you know what I mean!?
