martinfan5 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Came across this while doing a image search, I guess it was sitting for so long that the rust ate the chassis up
Danno Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 "Bo, I told you som'ting felt a little loose in the front end." "Shuddup, Luke."

gtx6970 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Being talked about that it's a Hemi car http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=Test&Number=7782395&Searchpage=1&Main=7782308&Words=+gtx6970&topic=&Search=true#Post7782395
disabled modeler Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Same thing happened near my town a guy had a 70 Superbird let it sit in a field next to his house(I tried many times over the years to buy-trade-etc. for it so I could save the poor thing)...finally he did sell it but it too ripped in half behind the windshield and floor when they tried to load it....what a waste...
mistermodel Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 save it with a tube chassis to upset the purest. If its a hemi car you would have a numbers matching prostreet. imagine the dropped jaws
Danno Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 That's not a General Lee, just a Hemi orange Charger. boys, lol. True, but close enough for our sick humor!

lanesteele240 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 If that was a sale, i hope it had a out of sight warrenty.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 ....Just kinda what happens when ya' keep one around a little too long on the "Nope, I ain'ta gonner sell 'er. Gonner fix 'er up sumday" theory.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 ...Course, a few years back, we had that happen to a few around here (while going down the road) after having been "reconstructed" by "experts" in "bodyshops".
crazyjim Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I wonder if that's the Charger from the swamp pic posted some time back.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Some superglue and bondo should fix that right up! Duct Tape.
Danno Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Duct Tape. Oh, yeah. Of course! How could I have forgotten that? We always called it 'Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Racer Tape' unless you bought the really expensive, high quality kind, in which case it was 'Two-Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Racer Tape.'
