crazyjim Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Back when I was building AMT's Ice Cycle, there were extra parts that were finally identified as being very similar to MPC's Boss Bike. I took those parts and made a Harley powered trike.
crazyjim Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 Thanks, Laz. It was waaaaayyyyy out of my comfort zone.
cobraman Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Looks very cool ! You need to get out of your comfort zone more often !
crazyjim Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Thank you, Ray. I'm trying new things slowly.
JunkPile Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Thank you, Ray. I'm trying new things slowly. When are you going to try RUST ?
crazyjim Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 RUST??? I may be trying to go out of my comfort zone and somewhat crazy, but rust will never happen. Like Fatkidd says, "if it ain't SHINY, you're just dull."
crazyjim Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Thanks, Ira. It's not a par with your stuff - it's fun trying though.
Jantrix Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 That is very very very cool, Jim. I like it a lot.
crazyjim Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Thank you very much, Rob. I plan on bringing it to the contest in Orlando over Labor Day weekend, the MAGS show in October, FAST in October, and then down to Largo in November.
GrandpaMcGurk Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Bummer.........I was going to give you a complete "Do It Yourself" rust kit for Christmas.
crazyjim Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 What in the world would I do with a rust kit?
Tony T Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 That looks cool, Jim...I'd be hesitant to sit on it, but admiring it from the curb would be fine!! Nice build! As for rust...build a "before" restoration of a shiny model...just for fun, Jim...no pressure!
crazyjim Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 Thanks, Tony. I don't think I'd care to ride either. Rust - no thanks.
JasonFL Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Now that is crazy! You think with the name crazyjim you'd get outa that comfort zone more often, this is one killer custom bike build. I'd hate to be the guy riding that if the back tire ever blows out..haha. Nice work.
slusher Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Very cool and unique build Jim. Don't know how l missed it....
crazyjim Posted August 30, 2013 Author Posted August 30, 2013 Thank, Carl. It probably just got lost along the way.
