gasser59 Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Ok, able to get some pictures up but it wasn't easy and took two computers. Â Â Â Â As you can see, the bumper still needs alot of work. Edited September 29, 2017 by gasser59

Danno Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Yowza! That's amazing work, Brad. Jeff ~ Looking forward to making your in-person acquaintance this weekend, too!

gasser59 Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 OK now that DSC is done, I can post some of my latest bench time sessions' results. The plumbing for the shower is complete along with the floor drain and installing the commode. I made a little 35mm camera to go next to the coffee cup. DSC was so much fun and the builds on the tables were amazing. I got to meet up with Randy D, Nitrozilla, Jeffs396, blunc and a host of others from here on the forums. So glad we were able to hook up. 1
gasser59 Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 And added some cut out shapes of printing plate in the closet to hang some clothes on. I'll use tissue, acrylic paint and white glue for these. That's all for now, stay tuned.
John Teresi Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Brad........after seeing this in person at the DSC 2015 ......I was just amazed..........I tell ya man ........you are one tallented dude.......this stuff is so tiny.......and it looks real......."Wow". just love it my friend........can`t wait for the next up-date.
gasser59 Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Thanks brother John. So good to hang with you. I have a strange desire to visit Serbia. LOL
Tom Geiger Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Cool progress. Can't wait to see it finished. I just love the bathroom... you can do the entire triple S siting there!
gasser59 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks for your comments fellas. They're really appreciated. Yup, Tom, I think you could do everything in he bathroom you mentioned but no hand washing.
Randy D Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Hey Brad, Glad we could spend a little time together, hopefully next year I can stick around a bit longer ! I have to tell you folks that this build is one of those special ones that does not disappoint when you see it in person. The fit an finish of this project is off the charts!!!! Can't wait to see how the clothes turn out. Thanks my friend Randy
gasser59 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Randy - thanks my friend. You're too kind. I really enjoyed our brief time together and hope to repeat it although longer next time. Richard - thanks so much. I really appreciate you following along on this slow build.
gasser59 Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Progress has slowed since DSC although I've been working in small doses. I can't glue the bathroom/galley side until I do the sink faucets which I've been working on. The wardrobe cabinet side needs the clothes made and put on hangars before permanently gluing in place. I've found and painted another pair of shoes for the closet and they're ready for mounting to the floor. Stay tuned,
kilrathy10 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 What an amazing project....Very nice work....Just amazing....
gasser59 Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Thanks JT. I appreciate your interest and comment. Finally able to get the galley sink faucets done. Just need to add a few items to the countertop before gluing in place in the camper shell. Here's a couple of pictures. Comments welcome and thanks for your interest. Randy D Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Hey Brad, As usual, perfection in the details!!!!! How did you do those faucet handles?????? Randy
gasser59 Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 Thanks guys. Randy - the white part of the ,faucet handles is actually styrene rod shaped by turning them on my Dremel Stylus which was drilled out for a small piece of wire fitted into a turned piece of 1/16th " aluminum tubing. Then that combination was then slipped onto a small straight pin. The same method I used for the shower handles. More to follow. Stay tuned.
afx Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Not sure if it was intentional or not but it looks like there is a bit of caulking around the sink bowl. Great detail.
Mooneyzs Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Brad... That there is some might fine work of yours. That sink and faucet looks great!! I can't wait to see whats next. Hope you get some good bench time in this weekend.
