Frank Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 (edited) Hi from Australia Jurgen, would it be possible for you to detail the method you used to modify the C600 chassis. I am attempting to build an F8 flat bed, but am not sure how to modify the chassis. Pictures or drawings would be nice if you have them. Cheers.................Frank Lee Edited August 16, 2013 by Frank
Modelbuilder Mark Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 That is great! Would love to see it again in about 15 years of day to day use and see what it looks like all weathered up! LOL Very very cool subject.
Sixties Sam Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Beautiful model! Good finish, and very well done. Sam
Plastheniker Posted August 19, 2013 Author Posted August 19, 2013 Thanks for your further comments. Frank, I am going to review my old files. I am quite sure that there are some useful pictures, drawings and tables concerning the F-8 frame. I will send them by pm. If anyone else should be interested too please let me know.
hack-n-whack Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I think you should have the cab (with the grille and headlight buckets) resin cast. You did abeautiful job on that truck!
berr13 Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 incredible! That's some model, my friend, looks museum quality!
peekay Posted October 19, 2013 Posted October 19, 2013 I don't look at the trucks that often so I missed this gem. That it looks so clean and precise after all those modifacations is remarkable. Wonderful!
Plastheniker Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 Sorry, I announced the F-800 when starting this topic. However I couldn't take the pictures yet, but they will follow.
charlie8575 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Very nice. We could get spoiled looking at your stuff. Charlie Larkin
