MikeyB08 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 So a group on Facebook (The Scale Model Club) posted this picture. Very creative and might spark a few odd ideas.
PappyD340 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I have the very same set-up in my Ford truck, only I have a two hampster power instead of one!!!
The70judgeman Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 You know somebody is going to say it..."It only costs peanuts to run."
Dr. Cranky Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 That's what we call thinking inside the wheel! LOL.
heatride Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 I went to the third grade and anybody with that much educations has to ask , will the vehicle going forward and the little fellow a wheelin it backords will he get vertigo ?
Skip Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I could see that under the hood of a Prius or a Fiat 500, but a Willys(?) that part's kinda strange. The tongue and cheek should fit the subject closely to work to its fullest! At least they got a great Hemi for another project, hopefully ether didn't try to shoehorn it into a Prius or Fiat 500!!!
Evilbenny Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 The EPA would not allow this. Too much methane emission.
DrKerry Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Wait a minute, he's running the wrong way!!! LOL
RancheroSteve Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 That squirrel must put out a lot of torque to require that Ford 9" differential!
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 How about a rabbit hutch in the trunk, to breed food for a larger, higher-hosepower carnivorous animal to supply the motive power up front? You could feed the rabbits grass clippings from mowing lawns. Or how about a horse on a treadmill on a wheeled "power unit", with the treadmill rollers geared to the wheels of the power unit, which would pull the car down the road like a trailer? All renewable fuel, and enough un-necessary complication to make today's engineers and product planners happy.
