prostreeter69 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Hey Guys: Here's a little 32 I just finished. I was going for a bare metal look. I wired and plumbed the motor as well as made the headers. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Jon
Ramfins59 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 That is one hot looking Hot Rod Jon. Good job.
Albie D Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Man, that's cool. Nice little details, how'd ya do the metal finish?
outlaw035 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 really good look'n deuce...liked the drilled out frame...good job on the bare metal...
PappyD340 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 That's really KOOL Jon, sweet looking hot rod!!
Sixties Sam Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Nice! I like the metal finish and the headers look great! Good work! Sam
prostreeter69 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Hey guys Thanks for the kind words. The paint is a Aclad polished aluminum over gloss black with a Vallejo black wash. My first try so I think it came out pretty close. The headers are made out of aluminum tubing and aluminum wire. Thanks Jon
tabsscale1 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Looks fantastic!! Looks Like you nailed the metal finish
Modelbuilder Mark Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 nice metal look. What did you use for the wash?
hjracing Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Really cool '32. I like so much the bare metal touch!
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 There's a lot I really like on this one, especially the drilled frame rails, the metal finish, your choice of engine, scoop, headers and colors, and the overall look and stance. The proportions of the mild chop are good, too, and the slightly open windshield is a nice touch.
berr13 Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 I agree with Garageguy on the chop. It's subtle, yet very pleasing to the eye. All in all, a great looking deuce!!
prostreeter69 Posted August 22, 2013 Author Posted August 22, 2013 Thanks guy for the comments this was really a fun build for me I tried a lot of new things. The wash is Vallejo black. Jon
