Well, here's the Jeep I was planning to build as a gasser but it ends up as an altered. Paint is HOK limetime pearl. I put a Hemi in there and set it back a little bit. Got it all wired up. I put the battery in back along with a tube bumper that would be filled with lead for weight transfer. I think the front springs came from a '37 Chevy kit with an aluminum axle. Front wheels are from the '56 Ford kit.

Thanks Jesse. I have a set of paddle tires but was saving them for a dune buggy build. Now that you mention a sand racer, I might have to do some research on them and see what happens. Thanks for the idea.

I like it! Cool model. I drive a green Jeep and have been looking for HEMI logos to stick on the sides just for laughs. This makes me want to do it even more.

That looks excellent! Shiny paint and very nice detail. Interesting subject too, and a very nicely built model, so I really like it. Good work as always Jim.

Hey Jim,

Looks great, glad you made it an altered, refreshing to see something different with the big slicks and a hemi!!

I like shiny too!!
