BigBad Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hessel, either you have an excellent sense of of observation or you have an engineering background! This is looking super sharp! That suspension setup is really nice.
Hessel Hemstra Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Sorry, I'm just a math teacher but have worked in shipbuilding for ten years. Engineering is field of interest of course Again a few detail photo's. Hessel
BigBad Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Well, for "just" a math teacher, you make great work!
ap40rocktruck Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 It is amazing just how fast one can assemble parts that are cut out on a CNC mill. The time would certainly be much more if each piece was laid out & cut the traditional way. Ap40
hooknladderno1 Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Hessel, Amazing as usual! Where would a modeler in the US begin to find someone in the US who would do CNC milling? Any ideas? David
Hessel Hemstra Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Where would a modeler in the US begin to find someone in the US who would do CNC milling? I have put an ad on a website of second hand stuff for sale. in Holland we have a (ebay owned) site called 'Marktplaats' don't know if you have a similar site in the US. I do my milling at a shop in the neighborhood. This suits me fine Hessel

raildogg Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Please Hessel send me a link for the drawing plans I have a desktop cnc and can try to make that. Need those plans though. PM me or something. Jons'en for plans!!
Hessel Hemstra Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Assembling all the wheels and after painting it gives a possibility to dry-fit the rig. I will work on the detailing now. Then the paint job of the parts. Hessel
