chunkypeanutbutter Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 On New Year's Eve, we had beer out in the garage just in the 6-packs on the floor. Completely ice cold.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I was getting drinks for people, and I was working out in the shop on one of my stereos.
Tom Geiger Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 On New Year's Eve, we had beer out in the garage just in the 6-packs on the floor. Completely ice cold. We were at a friends house... and we had all the beers lined up on the deck railing.
Joe Handley Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Went to fill my Jeep after work tonight (at $2.09/gal ) and the slush was so thick that I stepped out of one shoe and into the slush and nearly did with the other too!
Joe Handley Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 The one I nearly stepped out of was, and it wasa close call!
Guest Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I wasn't drinking. I was just giving you a hard time, lol.
disabled modeler Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Did you roll out or fall out ? I guess I fell out while moving in my sleep...?....
Rob Hall Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Last week irkage: home internet, phone and cable tv went out Wednesday. After several calls, got a Cox technician out yesterday morning to resolve the issue (was something where the line from the house connected to a box in the alley and that connection was bad). Plus: She was cute.. Minus: missed the Saturday playoff games. On Saturday, had a flat tire on the Jeep due to screws in the tire. Ended up replacing all 4 tires... On Friday, washing machine died. Waiting this morning for the new one to be delivered and installed. Yesterday: dissapointing finish to the season for the Broncos.
Tom Geiger Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Rob, it sounds like my weekend! Friday evening I'm driving home from work and suddenly the brakes on my Breeze feel very hard and like the car will not stop. The pedal isn't on the floor, so I'm anticipating that the power brake unit has given up. Funny thing, I went to move the car this morning and it seemed back to normal. I'm not trusting that though, it needs an inspection so it's going to the garage anyway. My van has been at the garage to get it's annual inspection. It's been sitting there a week because their emissions machine is down. That wasn't an issue since the van is a spare car so I told them just to keep it. Of course I need it now with the Breeze down! Saturday AM I ran out to do my errands since I needed to leave for NJ for my model meeting. My wife wanted to work on a scrap book all day since I'm leaving her without a car. I expect to run through Walmart, grabbing her photo order and soda for the model meeting. Nope! I get to the photo counter and nobody is there. I rustle up a couple of employees who don't know how to help. Then I find out that their computers are down and there are no photos! I buy soda. I hit the post office to get the stamps for the NNL East postcard mailing. The post office has 200 postcard stamps! They were nice enough to call a neighboring post office who confirmed that they had the stamps and would hold them for me. Now I'm driving 20 minutes out of my way and am now late for my meeting. I get the stamps. Sunday my wife decides to have some ice cream and gets it from the freezer... it's mushy. So now there's something wrong with the freezer! We just paid a lot of money to replace the compressor, so I'm calling the repair company today. It's always something!
