This is my barn find. A 1973 camaro LT. 350 v8. Belonged to my drs. Receptionist she was going to scrap it. This car was only on the road for 14 years and then got wrecked. They then stored it outside, tben in a barn then finally in the shop for the last 15 years. Exposure has taken its toal on the body. It needs quarters and new panels and general restoration. I only paid 20130915_115521_zpsf49b6ed2.jpg$250.00 for it. The picture shows it seeing daylight for the first time in years

Nice find! I personally would get it road worthy and enjoy it, the body doesn't look too bad unless the passenger's side is where the wreck occurred.

The wreck is on the drivers quarter panel behind the door and wheel. The passenger quarter has the rust. The passenger side is same as drivers side. I plan to clean it up and get it running so I can drive it while working on it. These cars are getting so hard to find. Even the wife approves of this project.

That might not last too long once she finds out how much moolah you're dumping into it................................

In Kansas City they would call that parking lot damage. Great save, but ditch the add on body side moldings. Another thing , it looks like LT emblems near the drivers side head light. This would make it kind of unusual .

Yes the body side moulding is going away. And it is a LT.There are emblems on the front panel and tailight panel. And on on the sail panels.

At least all of the sheet metal and interior and other sundry parts are all available and not overly expensive. I see what you mean about the right rear quarter, lots of rot all the way up to the rear window. Well worth saving this.

I don't know where you're located , but I get a 40% discount with AMD when it's time to repair those quarters .. be glad to pass my discount on to you for a kit or 2 ;-)

King six. I just might consider that. Gotta save money where I can to appease the wife. The only thing she requested in her approval of the project is she picks the color. Emerald green with z/28 stripes in silver. The funny thing is that was one of the color combos I was thinking of. Just like on the model box.

Oh and I live near monroe. Washington in a little town called sultan.

My god ! this is the buy of the year mate . You say the wreck damage is behind the drivers door ? I can see some little damage not enough to park it !!!!!!!

That was the era of crappy steel being used by GM.I've seen Camaros of that vintage with the door mirrors hanging off due to rust in the middle of the door skin and Buick Regals where the roof was rotted on top and the only thing holding the 1/4 panels to the roof panel was the vinyl top!
