I built this to clone the Supra I had in '82, I also haven't seen an '82 on here so I thought I could help out. This is a 1/25 1983 ARII curbside kit. Not bad and the functional sunroof is fun. I did find the decals were very poor (material-wise) but I will allow this could be due to age. The Vanity plate is my fault as I had the same on my 1:1. I'm trying for better pictures, black is too shiny for my flash (Black lacquer over Tamiya primer, I chose not to clear this one as I got away without orange peal on the black then I got scared) and a photographer I'm not.

Yeah I know the lighting isn't great, this is where I usually take my pictures but probably not the best choice for a black car. I'll work on changing up the pictures. I was happy with the results of my black paint experience and the side view with this background doesn't make this car easy to see. Worked better with a White car! :lol:post-12738-0-14174600-1384812620_thumb.j

This is the ONLY Toyota I like on the planet. This configuration too. With that particular front end treatment and that spoiler. Neighbor had one once looked great in red with black trim. Wish I knew where I could find him, he owes me money.

I almost bought one of those cars.I had admired the seats in the sport version, could live with the styling, and the price wasn't too terrible. Then I got a chance to drive one and was disappointed with the acceleration.I bought my '84 Z-28 H.O. instead.

What I can see looks good. I almost bougth one of these kits off eBay for a project.

Like everyone else said, try taking pictures in natural daylight, also check the setting on you camera. Use the macro/closeup setting if it has it.
