gotnitro? Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Here's my completed build of the 1950 Chevy. I utilized the Ron Andrews resin cab, AMT "Texaco " kit, and several scratched parts along the way! The paint is Orange / White pearl . Createx Wicked colors was used, this stuff is amazing . Thin it down using their W500 high performance thinner about 50% and spray...simple!! The clear is a 2 part urethane from URE-KEM. I replaced the plastic floor w/ wood strips, 1/16 channel for the ribs. There's a Optima yellow top hiding under the hood, and Pegasus wheels for burnouts. Alclad 2 was used throughout for the chrome bits. I found a suitable side mirror from the 67 vette..which also gave up the rear suspension..for that ground dragging look I'm having trouble uploading from PB..the upload doesn't finish after I click ok, so here's the thumbnails..sorry enjoy the pics!
