'52 Hudson Hornet Convertible

Just a mildly modified build of the Moebius kit, with a slightly distressed paint job which was inspired by a die cast M2 Mercury limo. (Sorry, Jim, since I used semigloss clear, this one is only half shiny. ) For those of you checking the scoreboard, this is the 9th one I've finished.

With those swoopy lines and tapering tail, this is one of the few cars that the '50s jet-fighter theme actually works well on. Cool.

Yep, that's the kit's 308, but I added my own finned head and some Stromberg carbs with curved stacks from the reissued Revell Tweedy Pie.
