Chuck Most Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Just a mildly modified build of the Moebius kit, with a slightly distressed paint job which was inspired by a die cast M2 Mercury limo. (Sorry, Jim, since I used semigloss clear, this one is only half shiny. ) For those of you checking the scoreboard, this is the 9th one I've finished.
Danno Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 That's superb, Chuck! Love the interior and the combination of colors. Obviously a Hudson fan, huh?
TFchronos Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Very interesting and beautiful Hornet, nice job!
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 With those swoopy lines and tapering tail, this is one of the few cars that the '50s jet-fighter theme actually works well on. Cool.
Ramfins59 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Chuck, that is a great looking car. This is another one (of many) on my "To Do" list.
rmvw guy Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Nice Hudson, not sure about the stars and stripe but, I like everything else. You are on a roll with these Hudsons.
bbowser Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Very cool build. Is that 6-banger in the kit?
crazyjim Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I'm loving the interior and engine details so I'll forgive the unshiny paint job, Chuck. Good looking build.
Greg Cullinan Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 So nice. Should've put back tires and wheels on though. Lol.
the goon Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Nice. Do you have to pay a slip fee when you park something like that ? Mark
realgone58 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Pretty wild. The worn paint on the top of the dash is very cool!
Chuck Most Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Thanks, guys! Very cool build. Is that 6-banger in the kit? Yep, that's the kit's 308, but I added my own finned head and some Stromberg carbs with curved stacks from the reissued Revell Tweedy Pie.
Davewilly Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Like the Military flare to it...Very nice build
