I just bought one of the most recent '69s. I'll be doing a 1975 M/P car, for the very reason you mentioned. Of course, it's perfectly fine, for that.

Does the most recent kit have wsw tires?   My older reissue has the black wall tires.

Latest release MPC994 will have pad printed narrow whitewall tire set and a pair of M&H Racemaster slicks.

This kit has been out for almost 4 months now. My LHS got it back at the beginning of November.

I must have missed them, then.

Sadly no LHS anymore. The last one closed in 2022.
