Bruce, that's pretty much what "spring" looks like here too! We got anywhere from 3 to 8 inches last night, depending on where in the metro area you are.

And oh yeah... the forecast calls for a low of 8º F tonight. The all-time record cold for this date is 6º, set in 1896!!!

Global warming, where are you?

50 degrees yesterday, 40 and rain this morning @8 am, 10 degree drop in temp by 9am and snow, ended up at this point with about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. got out of work early [roads were horrible, took twice as long to get home as usual], and 'did' the driveway. scattered snow now, hope I do not have to do the driveway again in the am.

c'mon spring.........

Another 6 to 8 inches of snow today.Just waiting for them to tell us what the official total is. That is 84 inches this winter.

It's official 84 inches this year, new record for us .

81 is way to warm Ray.

It will be 5 degrees tomorrow morning, wind chill will be 8 below, it was 68 yesterday afternoon. A 63 degree drop in less than 40 hours. It NEVER rises that fast!

Maybe not there, but those of us living here in Alberta, Wy, and Montana see it at least once a winter when that ol' chinook flows over the Rockies...

We had 40 plus degree weather on Tuesday cool down to 1 degree Thursday morning (after 6 inches of wet snow) than back to 52 for Friday and 40'S Saturday . You have to like the midwest for the variety .

More snow comin' tomorrow (Saturday) night folks, so don't put your shovels away just yet.

That dusting we got can hardly be considered a snow fall.

We won't even hit 30 today.

Instead of green all over- it's white, dirty white, dirty ice and patches of brown....

Happy St. Patrick's Day.
