Harry P. Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Bruce, that's pretty much what "spring" looks like here too! We got anywhere from 3 to 8 inches last night, depending on where in the metro area you are. And oh yeah... the forecast calls for a low of 8º F tonight. The all-time record cold for this date is 6º, set in 1896!!! Global warming, where are you?
tbill Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 50 degrees yesterday, 40 and rain this morning @8 am, 10 degree drop in temp by 9am and snow, ended up at this point with about 8 inches of heavy wet snow. got out of work early [roads were horrible, took twice as long to get home as usual], and 'did' the driveway. scattered snow now, hope I do not have to do the driveway again in the am. c'mon spring.........
Tom Geiger Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 You are killing me! Don't worry Harry! We'll get Ray in the summer when it's like 140* in Phoenix!
Harry P. Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 Don't worry Harry! We'll get Ray in the summer when it's like 140* in Phoenix!

1930fordpickup Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) Another 6 to 8 inches of snow today.Just waiting for them to tell us what the official total is. That is 84 inches this winter. cobraman Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Don't worry Harry! We'll get Ray in the summer when it's like 140* in Phoenix! How true, how true. : (
Craig Irwin Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 It will be 5 degrees tomorrow morning, wind chill will be 8 below, it was 68 yesterday afternoon. A 63 degree drop in less than 40 hours. It NEVER rises that fast!
High octane Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Craig, you ain't seen nothin' yet. Just wait 'til NEXT winter. LOL!
High octane Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 More snow comin' tomorrow (Saturday) night folks, so don't put your shovels away just yet.
mk11 Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 It will be 5 degrees tomorrow morning, wind chill will be 8 below, it was 68 yesterday afternoon. A 63 degree drop in less than 40 hours. It NEVER rises that fast! Maybe not there, but those of us living here in Alberta, Wy, and Montana see it at least once a winter when that ol' chinook flows over the Rockies... mike
Custom Hearse Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Snow coming here today and tonight... I'm ready to go storm chasing!
1930fordpickup Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 We had 40 plus degree weather on Tuesday cool down to 1 degree Thursday morning (after 6 inches of wet snow) than back to 52 for Friday and 40'S Saturday . You have to like the midwest for the variety .
cobraman Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Man, some of you fellows really got hammered this winter.
Craig Irwin Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Man, some of you fellows really got hammered this winter. Some of us are still getting it. 28 degrees right now and it won't get much warmer today.
lordairgtar Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 More snow comin' tomorrow (Saturday) night folks, so don't put your shovels away just yet. That dusting we got can hardly be considered a snow fall.
High octane Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 While I'm not at all disappointed, we didn't get enough to call it a "dusting."
Harry P. Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 We got a "dusting" here. Just enough to cover the ground, not enough to bother with shoveling.
oldnslow Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 The only "dusting" we have is yellow pollen, 83 and a little windy, beautiful day though.
charlie8575 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 We won't even hit 30 today. Instead of green all over- it's white, dirty white, dirty ice and patches of brown.... Happy St. Patrick's Day. Charlie Larkin
Harry P. Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 Not much warmer here. In the mid 30s, windy and raw. If this is "spring," I want a refund...
High octane Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Relax Harry, spring is comin' on Thursday, at least on the calendar. LOL!!!
