bowtieboss Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 This is my london routmaster by revell I made it for my dad in the end hope you like happy 2014
ChrisR Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Looks good! I am still building up courage to start mine.
Jim Whalen Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Hi, Looks good! These kits are certainly a lot for their money. They are certainly iconic buses - I was having a good look round one in August and even got to sit in the driver's seat. I keep toying with the idea of getting one of these Revell kits but don't know if I could handle all the repetitive work with the seats!
bowtieboss Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks james yeah the seats took alot of time to be honest iv only been model making since October 12 so still learning alot
tbill Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 that is well done! beautiful job! that must of been quite the workout on your patience, but well worth it I think.
Plastheniker Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 (edited) I have seen several finished kits, your model is certainly one of the best. Pictures would make your great workmanship probably even more evident without the reflections of the direct sunlight. BTW nice tag! Edited January 3, 2014 by Plastheniker
Jim B Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Great looking bus. Very realistic. I remember riding on those back in the 1980s.
kilrathy10 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Good work, Dude....Very nice work on this model....A little too rich for my blood, as they're very relatively expensive, here in the states....I'd love to try my hand at one of these, but just can't afford it....Just like the newer bus RG kit....I'd love to build that thing, but I just can't justify $120 on one kit....My wife would KILL me....Awesome job, though, Man....Awesome job....
bowtieboss Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Cheers JT yeah im the same with kits your end I was looking at a cap from chevy mart for example and a$ 30 cap is fine but they want an extra $90 on top just to send it to the uk
David G. Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 There's a lot of work in building one of these- well done! David G.
