Very cool! I know some do not care for autographs and some think it is blasphemy to get your models autographed, but I like the connection coming full circle.

Plus, you get to meet Daisy!

Cool! Where's Danno? He needs to see this!

BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH now I'M JELOUS!

Nice model. I can't say much more then also have been said, but to have it autographed by Mss Daisy herself..... NOW thats something and to have your pic taken WITH her, is even more something WITH the car in your hand!

Check Post# 14 on Page 1.

Model ~ Very good.

Catherine Bach ~ Not so good any more, sad to say. Rather remember her as she was. Cool that she liked Jay's model and was gracious enough to carefully autograph it.

Another autograph, from none other than Deputy Enos Strate!  He made an appearance at the Hazzard Hoedown at the Cabbage Patch in Port Orange this past weekend. Unfortunately, I was not able to be present, so a trusted friend took my general to the event. Sonny was very talkative and personable and while I'm thrilled to have gotten another cast member autograph, I'm pissed that i couldn't be there in person. Just Like Catherine Bach, he was very careful with the car, as you all can see.  Now I know some of you are cringing at the thought of black Sharpies being dragged across my paint job, however, I could not be happier and I will continue to show this car as model shows come up. Take care and thanks for looking. 154_2015_Enos_Hazzard_Hoedown_Cabbage_Pa155_2015_Hazzard_Hoedown_Sonny_Shroyer_C

Real nice build on that General Jay, and I know that a lot of people are happy to have their models, 1/18th models, and 1:1 cars autographed by celebrities, I'm just not one of them. I spend hours building a model and rather not have anyone scribble their name all over my work, but that's just me. To each their own.

Wow!!

The most real looking General Lee i've ever seen, we can clearly notice all the work done to complete this 1/16th scale General!!

You have my respect!!!

Man, that makes it all worth it....If you you could just track them Duke boys down, you'll have a seriously awesome collectable.....Either way, this is awesome....

Finally finished this car. Started in July of 2011. it survived two moves and 5 months of storage without losing one part or damage to one piece. I made a list of the changes that I made to it. Between the body, interior, engine and chassis, the changes, mods, scratch-built parts and sourced parts, the list of changes total 55. For those of you that have not followed this build, please feel free to ask any question you have or refer to the build thread. I plan on showing it a the Masscar show in Tauntom, Ma. this march along with my '46 Galaxy MSP aerosedan. I can't wait.

Again, the changes and build details are a lot to re-type. Please feel free to ask anything you would like to know if you are building your own. I have kept the templates for the front wheel well inserts, radiator support, push bar and filler between the grill and radiator support if that helps anyone. Take care and thanks for looking.
