Used this kit

To resemble this car

I'm not a "rivet counter" but this thing has quite a few inaccuracies. The interior and wheels appear to be from a previous or two generations earlier 911. The seats had more sinkholes in them than FL.

Painted Rustoleum Maui Blue which appears pretty close to the factory Riviera Blue. Interior painted mostly in gray primer with Future used for seats, console, and panels. Chassis painted flat and semi-gloss black with metallic gray for the control arms.

Bill, I used Walmart cheap flat white spray paint that was sanded with 2000 grit sandpaper. The Rustoleum is slow to dry. I think it was between 4-6 hours before I could touch it. It dried to such a hard shine, that I barely put any polish on it the next day.

Bruce, I didn't think to scribe the panel lines. I think the paint covers so well that a wash wouldn't show.

Very nice, love that shade of blue! What did you polish with?

Brandon, sorry it took me so long to reply, but I couldn't get quotes to work in IE. i used Liquid Glass polish. Not sure its is still available; I've had this can for 15 years.

Beautiful!!

Certainly have been a lot of gorgeous models showing up with Rustoleum paint lately. Must be much better formula than back in the old days!
