Steve_L Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 These are pictures of my 1962 Revell Corvette Gasser. I built it pretty much box stock, except for adding rubber radiator hoses, a distributor and ignition wires, a wire for the tachometer and modifiying the exhaust pipes. I finished it with Duplicolor primer, Spaz Stix Candy Red and Duplicolor clear. Revell has produced an above average kit and I am pleased with the outcome of this build. Enjoy!
TooOld Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Beautiful !! Is the candy red over white or gray primer ?
Steve_L Posted February 1, 2014 Author Posted February 1, 2014 Beautiful !! Is the candy red over white or gray primer ? I used Duplicolor White Sandable Primer for this build. The Spaz Stix Candy Red requires a base coat of the Spaz Stix # 00300 Silver Metallic Backer.
