I kike it a lot. What did you make the fuel filter from?

I used a small diode from radio shack and just scratch off the writing.

looks really cool, I have built GM and Ford cars.....Looking at your Mopar makes me want to build one. I like the Stance and the Steelies.....It is such a old school classy and classic look.....My older brother was a street racer....He said " Cars like this are the ones you really had to watch out for...a lot of those Mopars have Hemis". Somtimes he called 'em "Sleepers"...Guys would "Soup em up" give em a "Shave and a Hair Cut". Somtimes they would be Pmimered or Flat Black....Those Hemis needed to breath so if you saw a bulge in the hood......Hang on there could be a 426 under there.

Ok. After being put away for a while I decided to bring this one back out. I was looking at the wheels and tires and just wasn't liking the way they looked. The rear tires were too tall and wide and didn't fit the wheel well very good. The rear wheels didn't look like mopar wheels and the fronts weren't quit deep enough. I found the steelies in the 50 Ford convertible kit and liked them way better. Right now I'm using the kit tires but might buy the parts pack polyglas tires so that I could have white letters and also maybe mix up the two sizes for big and littles. I would really like to have wider tires with a deeper dish rim in the rear but can't find any suitable tires. Here is how it sits now.

Small update. Did some work on the interior. Just need to finish the seat belts so that I can glue everything together.

Made a dipstick for the hemi.

And made the hold down for the top of the master cylinder and made brake lines. I also saw the yellow dot in reference pics so I decided to add it to the brake booster.

Thanks for the nice comments. I got the parts pack tires and they look great. I decided to use the bigger ones in the rear and smaller ones in the front to give it a slight rake. Wheels are painted and I decided to do a spare in the trunk like the real car.

Very clean work and i like the crinkle valve covers and dash especially. The opening trunk is killer, could you show a few pics of the hinge construction please?

Excellent work!

Thanks Andy. Very nice job.

The interior looks very good, the door panels look right. They look like plastic. They were plastic too. i always thought the interiors on the Cuda and Challenger were terrible, way below average back in the day. Your work looks better than in real life.

Now that my welding truck is done I can get back to this one. Using the lowered suspension with tires from the 32 five window and parts box steelies.

Oh man, thanks so much. I've been pondering over what tires to use for my upcoming Cuda build. That will give me the exact look I want. Genius.
