Owning a 1/1 Matador I can say you nailed it!!!! And an FYI this odd duck is a really great car. Mine has huge sway bars front and rear and the AMC V-8 and big disk brakes makes it fun to drive over some other cars of the era......COOL

Great looking model Alan ! Congrats on a really nice job .

I think it's one of AMC's best looking cars!

I was overseas for most of the 70's and missed all of those strange designs . Back then there wasn't much news from home so when I got back to the states and saw all of them I couldn't believe how bad they were ! Now I really love 'em , guess they grow on you !

I always thought they were kind of ugly too, but they do have a way of growing on you over the years. I don't mind them now. I'd drive one. Still can't sell me on a Pacer though!

Gotta agree with Harry, next to the first-generation Javelin/AMX and the 1965-66 Ambassador, I think that's the best-looking car AMC ever came up with.

Nice work on that, Al.

Really a good looking color on it and just nice workmanship on the whole car .

i would own one. especially since i have a friend who has a stroked 401 making 700 hp and 9.0's easily in a 73 hornet.

i like the 67 68 ambassadors they looked chevellish in ways . Sad AMC was one of the cool companies that shouldn't have gone away.

another fine example of a builder's work instead of an assembler's. great job; love the color; it screams 1975 all over.

Thank you man, that means a lot! Also, thanks to everyone for the compliments.
