cobraman Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) Thinking of building something along these lines. Amt 3 in 1 boat kit and the top of a Revell Olds funny car. Edited June 6, 2014 by cobraman
slusher Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 That will be cool Ray. You know i will be watching. I have tried to score that kit a few times but has been a little out of my price range....
1930fordpickup Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 I will be watching your idea Ray . I have thought of putting roof on a boat , but the door/ entry options have stumped me.
John Teresi Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Ray…….this is cool…….anxious to see some more progress
cobraman Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Thanks John. It may be awhile because I just landed a part on " The Walking Dead " ! : )
disabled modeler Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I like the idea of the roof....makes the kit look completely different and cool.
Belugawrx Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Yep!!! Putting a Chev 350 or a Hemi inboard in it?? Cheers
mustang1989 Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Interesting idea! I'll like seeing this one put into motion!
Belugawrx Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thanks John. It may be awhile because I just landed a part on " The Walking Dead " ! : )

Mooneyzs Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Thanks John. It may be awhile because I just landed a part on " The Walking Dead " ! : ) Awesome start on this build and I love The Walking Dead!
slusher Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I'm thinking a hatch in the roof. ????? That's a good idea Ray...
cobraman Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 To be honest I forgot all about this thing. Put it away to work on a replica of my buddys 66 Biscayne and pushed this to the wayside. Discovered it when I was looking for my next project. Seldom start another when I have one on the bench. Anyway, have some parts primed or painted. Cut a hole for the engine to protrude. Since it will be a jet boat I will have to fashion some sort of jet drive. Don't know much about boats so I'm sure it will not be too realistic. Let's just call it a prototype whatever it turns out to be. : )
Slammed1 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Cool project boat idea. Would like to hear/see more about your 66 Biscayne you built.
cobraman Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Thanks Brian. You can see the Biscayne in the "Under Glass" section.
TooOld Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 This is a great project Ray , I don't know anything about boats either but would love to build one ! Looking forward to more updates !
cobraman Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Thanks guys. Should be putting some color on it soon.
