Tom Geiger Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 There was one of these for sale on eBay the other day... was it this one?
carrucha Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Excellent build. Well finished and detailed. Very good scratch building work.
Chris White Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 beautiful, could use a few more pictures though
impcon Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) VERY nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really like that colour. Now you need to do another one that depicts the same truck in its original form before it was lowered.. that would make such a sweet stablemate for this truck - kind of a before and after. or do another one to sit between the aforementioned two showing it sitting in a field or abandoned in a back alley.. TooOld Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 That's a lot of work and it turned out Fantastic ! Congrats on a superb build and a big welcome back !
408calirides Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Fabulous build. Great detail also. What did you make the fruit out of?? The oranges is made out of lil small braclett decoration balls that had a orange peel effect on them so once i painted them orange that had that real orange look, the apples are from a beed variety pack i found at walmart, i just cut lil small pieces of wood for the stem. The only thing i didn't paint was the bananas, that one was tought on figuring out, so i found some already done on ebay but they came as ceramic in a crate so i had to dremel them off. Great Job! Did you make or buy the visor? The visor comes with the amt 50 chevy pick up kit. Its a nice one too.
408calirides Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Just want to say thank you all for the compliments, this build was fun but a pain in the butt too, lol, I might try to build another one but more simpler so i don't rack the brain the to hard next time
rsxse240 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 such a beautiful truck. It just puts a smile on my face. It has such a clean and friendly appeal. I am going to have to build one of these now.
