Howard Cohen Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I have two versions of Monogram's Little T; one is semi restored from a glue bomb with the turtle deck, wheels & tires from the L'il Coffin; the other is from leftover parts with a wood tank and wire wheels & tires from the Monte Carlo SS. I also have an 'Uncertain T', does that count? Oh, and a 'Tognotti King T' I still have to restore.
Raul_Perez Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Here's my AMT '25 T with the engine, chassis, tires and wheels from the Revell '40 Ford.
Terry Jessee Posted December 29, 2007 Author Posted December 29, 2007 Hey, Jeff, I really like that burned exhaust look. Nicely done "out of the box." Terry
Lyle Willits Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Perry's Resin T kit with a bunch of parts from a Revell '32 Ford kit. Revell "Rat Rod" issue. Boomer Bucket (Little T) with a few engine parts added.
FordRodnKustom Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Here's the only T I have, built that is! It's the venerable 1/24 RevelloGram kit with some different parts added.
Modelmartin Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Here are a few of my Ts. 1st one is an AMT T with the back half of a Revell funny car and a flathead V-12 from the Monogram Lincoln with a bunch of machined parts, plated brass and RB Motion rod-ends. One of my faves! These two are from my Modelmartin kits. Chassis are Revell Buttera T. Wheels on the green one are AMT 32 Ford.
Frank Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 This is the only T I have finished at the moment, it is built box stock except for the colour. I also have a Jimmy flintstone chopped centre door to build once I get a donor chassis.
MonoPed Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 The only T I have, built from the "boomer bucket" issue of the little T with a bunch of ###### from the parts box. Hard to believe that I built it nearly ten years ago
jbwelda Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 heres a couple: sadly, this has not progressed much in the past year, though its far further along than these old photos. its number one on my must do list, the primary task being to fit the body to the chassis (cut out reliefs for radius rods etc) then do some other fairly serious work on the body and make a tonneau etc, otherwise its a rolling chassis right now: and a recently finished big tub: these are the only Ts ive done in the past decade except a stock green hornet and a ratted rod green hornet but those werent serious builds,
MoparMarc Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 I haven't built a T since I was a teenager many, many moons ago (LOL). If fact, it is the same kit I started on a couple of months ago before I had to move. I don't have much to show at the moment other than some painted parts but once I finish the 32 Vickie I'm working on (hopefully tomorrow) I will start a WIP on the Golden T.
Gray Smith Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Great T's by all!, but out of them all, Andy's carbon fiber monster, and JB's track roadster stand out as my favs. I've got one in the works as a unibody/monocoque T with some Potvin Chevy running gear..its early in progress, one of these days i'll get around to it. Harry P. Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) Too bad Terry didn't ask to see our Model A's too, because that would have made for an interesting topic title... Anyway, a few of my T's, both of them built from re-released "Big T" kits: Edited December 31, 2007 by harrypri
Dave in Seattle Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Too bad Terry didn't ask to see our Model A's too, because that would have made for an interesting topic title... Yeah, I'm a little astounded that nobody has put up a pic of a set of Cadillac Dagmars yet...... But maybe that's just my warped sense of humor.....
Terry Jessee Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Well, I considered it--but I don't have any finished Model A's.... Or Dagmars.... Terry
jbwelda Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 thanks for the compliments and i really like that big t rat there...looks like you built a seat and seat back for it? do you have a good photo of the interior? anyway... >where did you get the offy engine, looks like the one from an old AMT Watson Roadster kit its the etzel resin and white metal kit, sadly no longer available. i wish i had bought at least a couple of them but thats the way that one goes.
Dave Darby Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 (edited) Just for fun, I'm gonna resurrect an 11 year old thread. Edited October 14, 2018 by Dave Darby
Gramps46 Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Just for fun here are 2 of my T's which have survived. 1
Eshaver Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 This is what happens when you take a AMT 1925 Model T , then back date it to a 1913 and add a former horse drawn trailer . Before you "Armchair experts " go all over me , This was copied out of a book on commercial cars .
Bernard Kron Posted October 15, 2018 Posted October 15, 2018 (edited) While I build an awful lot of hot rods I have built precious few T's. Here they are... 25T Altered 25 T-Bucket 27T HighBoy 27T LoBoy Edited October 15, 2018 by Bernard Kron
