Trailking120 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I have finally took some finished pictures of this project. This is an resin kit from SSB Resins in L.A.
Aaronw Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 That looks great, very nice job. Are those wheels from SSB? Seems like an odd detail to notice with all that truck to distract me, but those wheels really look good, and I could find a use for them where ever they came from. I have one minor quibble, you need to secure that water cooler. Maybe add a little strap to hold it in.

Back to the bench for that . The wheels and tires came from Ben Wicker. Here is his site http://bwicke9.wix.com/class-a-resin#!about-us/co2m
Aaronw Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 That is great to hear those are Ben's wheels and tires. I ordered a set from him a few weeks ago for the water tender I'm building, they look even better on your truck than on his website.
kilrathy10 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 An awesome build of a fire truck, if I ever saw one.....Takes me back to when I was a kid.....When I think "Fire Truck", this is what comes to mind.....Great job....
Plastheniker Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Everyone who knows that even a good resin body requires much more skills and effort than a poor styrene kit will appreciate the result you have achieved. Great and unusual model!
