Nope that is NOT a typo. B)

This is an older build that was started a few years back. I cannot find the original thread. It is inspired by the F-Bomb Camaro.

Here's my starting point. Chevy purists should look no further. I'm putting a 1/25 Viper V-10 in this 1/24 Camaro. It fits very nicely.

A quick mock up.

Some minor wiring and paint.

After fabbing some motor and tranny mounts,I think it looks right at home there.

That's all from the old stuff. I'll be taking shots of more recent work, It will be two tone, semi-gloss olive green and flat black. I'll use some military decals to get the WWII bomber look I'm after.

As always, ANY comments, criticisms or ideas to make the model better are kindly welcome. More soon.

Nope aside from mounts, the engine fits very nicely. But that's mostly due to the scale difference. If it was a 1/24 engine, I'm sure there would be some issues.

Some updated shots. Sidepipes are gonna be huge and a focal point of the build. Will be making those this weekend. Blended in the panel seams and eliminated the side vent. I still need to locate new tail lenses.

A Chrysler engine in a Chevy... That hurts! But it fits well. Looking pretty smooth up to now, nice job!

Quick update. Some big 'ol fat-nasty sidepipes. They will be flat black to contrast with the green body and the aluminum heat shields will get polished up some .

We got paint. Krylon silver and Italian Olive. Military decals soon and then a coat of flat clear. Maybe some minor weathering. I'm still undecided.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the ata-boys. Gonna let that enamel gas out for a few days and then get started.

Any opinions on the weathering?
