Jehan17 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Here is the latest one I've finished. Paint is automotive basecoat with urethane clear. Built out of the box, It was a joy to build. Edited May 9, 2014 by Jehan17 1
slusher Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Super sharp build. Very nice weathering and not over done.
Speedfreak Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 (edited) Nice work Jean, looks very convincing. The weathering on the radiator support looks excellent. Edited May 9, 2014 by Speedfreak
Jantrix Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Very nice. It has a great authentic look. Good color and detail.
W-409 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Very nice Nova and building a Sleeper is a good idea! You made it into a true Sleeper. If there was no engine picture, I'd thought it's a nice and clean Factory Stock build. I like the look with that flat hood and your color choice is just right. Black wash on the wheels really brings out the detail! Very nice and clean work.
PARTSMARTY Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I'M SO INTO SLEEPERS AND SO INTO YOUR NOVA-RIGHT ON !!!
dino246gt Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I love the sleeper look and it's so nice a cleanly built, excellent!
cartpix Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Ultra clean. I would have gone, with a little wider tire (not too big), on the back. A big block, 4 speed car isn't going to hook, with those skinnies. Or bolt on some 9" slicks, for an instant B/Stock.
peekay Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Really nice, understated model. Love your clean building style.
Jehan17 Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Cartpix: I'm a little new to American muscle cars and still have a lot to learn. Thanks for the comment. I basically used what was in the box.
1 bad55 stan Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 super neat detail Jean, very clean and tidy build!!Top job..

Don't worry about it, Jean. You've built one of the cleanest, factory fresh, big block Novas, I've ever seen. It looks like it's straight off the showroom floor, pop off the hubcaps, & prowling the streets, ready for action.
John Goschke Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Outstanding build! The little touches of the weathering really increase the realism.
