I bought this one off ebay for $10.00. It was moulded in that ugly tan. I went to my club meetings and asked for suggestions for colors. Dave Wood said he owned a 1:1 in white with a black vinyl roof. So here it is. Also at Friday nights meeting, this car will be giving to Dave. Everybody should have a model of their favorite car.

Thanks for looking.

Al

PS: I'm recovering from knee surgery and it took me a long time to get down on my garage floor to take these pictures, when my dog Chuck decided he wanted his feet in the pictures  . I just coudn't get down again to take more shots.

You've done another fine job Al. It's great when you can score anything on EBAY for such a low price. Good luck healing up that knee.

I don't mind the dog's feet.......lol........the Merc looks fantastic, and I'm sure your buddy will flip when you give it to him. That was a good score on a '65. I've been trying for one, but I always get outbid. I'll get one eventually! :)

Ray, I think the 60's and the pain med's answer the questions of floor photo's

Alan,

I got this one under "Buy it Now" on ebay. Some great buys there.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Hey Al, leave it to you to have a dog named Chuck! We have to get you up off the floor....

One old box. One side painted black, the opposite side is white... both those photos were taken in the same position you see the box here, up on the bench on my back deck.

The paints I used... a $10 investment. There are other brands as well. The box took about half a can per side.

The box is my carrying case too. No reason to be squatting on the floor at all!

I have the c. 2004-05 kit reissue that wasn't molded quite right, so I'm working out an idea on how to fix the big divit in that long stainless molding on the top of the fender.

This is a beauty, and I'm sure Dave will love it.

Feel better soon.
