What about using the backside of an Xacto blade or the tip of a Zona saw, Rob?

The door lines aren't really the issue so much as the door details in the area of the cuts.

oh and cool logo hahahahah lol

Yes, it is! :D

Rob, the mid-body line that was lost can be replaced w/ thin strip styrene.

Yep, I've got some half round stock that I will use and sand down to til its the same shape. Thanks.

This one is back on the bench. I hope to get back at it this week. I'm going on three weeks straight at work without a day off.

I'll be going in a different direction though. I have the leftovers from these two kits after finishing my RPU. I'm going to use the modified cab from earlier with the 32 chassis. Front and back suspensions will be modified to get a very low stance. I may Z the chassis in the rear, but not the front. I'm going to add a suicide front end. I'll be using the grill, wheels and tires from the roadster and a parts pack Caddy engine. More soon. I hope.

I think it looks very cool!! Can't wait for the

progress as it goes along.

So this will have a truck bed then?

Here is a '34 Ford truck I'm doing with a 6" +

4" chop on it to create the angle I wanted.

   ( In scale inches I mean )

Nope, no bed. Just a gas tank. Probably a beer keg.

Here it is channeled over a deuce frame. I'll be Z'ing the rear chassis. I'm working the engine first, getting it square in the chassis. We'll see how it all fits.

I'm thinking maybe something like this trunk, in back for the gas tank? Anyone got one from an old Monogram or MPC kit?

Finally a free weekend for a little QT with the wife and some bench time. My goal this weekend was to get the chassis sorted and so far so good. The only thing left is to get the engine raised a bit so that its not going to be lower that the frame. This is the Revell Parts Pack 354 Cadillac. I'm still undecided between the 4 or 6 carb set up. As for wheels the mock up is using the Revell deuce wires. I may use them I may not. I'm leaning towards the Revell '29 roadster big & little steelies and old school tires. The roadster rear tire is taller so it will add a little rake which I want. The front tires are the same height, so we're set there. I have Z'd the rear but did not add any length. I've added a cross bar and suicide perch forward of the stock suspension mount and lopped off the frame horns. Man it felt good to back on the bench. More soon.

Ummm...kinda looks like the heads are on upside down.

The combustion chambers should face the block, and the rectangular ridge the valve covers seat to should be up.

I set it up per the instructions, the three exhaust ports are facing the outside.
