Lovefordgalaxie
Thanks again guys!! Here is the 1:1 that inspired the two yellow Fords: Inspiration by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr I just didn't had the nerve to paint the grille yellow... I just kept hearing Mr. Ford in my head: "That's not stock my friend"
Lovefordgalaxie
Another nice job. The door is moved in which direction? Charlie Larkin Thanks Charlie!! The door line was moved forward as the roadster door is smaller than the three window coupe door. I moved the line forward about 8 millimeters, and I say about, because the doors were not the same length on both sides. Now they are. If you want a reference, the Roadster door is the same length as the five window coupe door.
mrknowetall
After I restored my old build black five window 1936 Ford, I had on hand two five window Fords, so I thought about building a roadster. I got the new Round 2 kit, but after opening the box, I realized that at some point in the future I could want to build a three window coupe, so I went back to my stash, and found a old issue of the AMT kit: Next victim by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr This kit has everything needed to build a Roadster, so I proceeded with this one and not with the new edition. The only modification needed was to fill the rear door line, as the body had the three window door engraved, and inscribe a new door line on the correct place for a Roadster. After that it was a pretty much box stock build. I only added some plug wires, radiator supports, and licence plates. The color is stock FoMoCo. in synthetic enamel. Hope you guys like it!! 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1936 Ford De Luxe Roadster by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr Another gem! If you want a reference, the Roadster door is the same length as the five window coupe door. That's what I thought I remembered reading on one thread or another. Interesting note about the doors not being equal length. When I finally get around to mine, looks like I'll be spending some quality time with Internet picture archives. mr moto
WOW! That's a beauty! For some reason, I've never considered building the roadster version of the '36 but I think you changed my mind.

rmvw guy
Another nice one Tulio. I learn something every time I look at one of your builds about color and trim. Very interesting about the door lines on the roadster also.
