Joe Handley Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Anybody watch this tonight? http://www.trutv.com/shows/motor-city-masters/index.html
High octane Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 No I don't watch any car shows on TV as they don't do anything for me and the drama stinks also. I really enjoy 1:1 cars by going to car shows, cruise nights, drag strips, etc. I also belong to four model car clubs as well, and a few internet forums too.

However I do like Chasing Classic cars and Wheeler Dealers a lot. No drama, juat cars and guys talking about them. But the best is Jay Leno's garage on the internet.
Joe Handley Posted June 26, 2014 Author Posted June 26, 2014 So far the only "Reality Car Show" I like to watch is Counting Cars.......actually, that's one of the few non news reality shows I'll try to watch! I wasn't truely impressed with the initial concept, but it did turn out to keep my attention. Already have a couple people on the show that I think need to be sent packing and as soon as I heard the hostess say that the one judge designed the Clooney Batmobile, I thought that alone should have disqualified him from being a judge.
Tom Geiger Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I agree. However I do like Chasing Classic cars and Wheeler Dealers a lot. No drama, just cars and guys talking about them. Agreed! But I am waiting for the day that Wayne actually gets excited about something! I also like American Pickers and American Restoration... but the prices they charge to restore stuff is insane!
Luc Janssens Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 (edited) Wheeler Dealers (WD) is the show for me, I've watched some of the US series and wonder why they need the drama and those staged rare parts finds, is the US classic car scene full of morons and drama kings? Where on earth do these producers get that idea, from women fighting over a piece of cloth at some big closeout sale? I realy do hope that WD get the highest ratings amongst viewers, so that that format gets used by the US broadcast companies too.... Edited July 4, 2014 by Luc Janssens
