High octane
The 4th of July is kinda like anyother day and has been for quite awhile. Most all the stores are open with huge sales, the restaurants, gas stations, etc. are all open as well for "business as usual." Back in the 50's most everyplace was closed on this holiday, except for the neighborhood tavern. Yes, it was even hard to find a gas station open on a holiday. Don't forget to "fly da flag" today in honor of our great country's independence, and have a great day.
Craig Irwin
Yes, I proud to be an American! I'm riding my Harley over to my parents to watch a parade and have a family grill out. Can't think of anything more American.

Very True Nick, I do remember when most stores and businesses were closed on many of the holidays, now it seems the only day off many workers get is Christmas day! While it is important to "fly da flag" today, I fly one every day as a reminder of my freedom and the brave soldiers who defend it.
