Trip to Burbank today.  Electric car bonanza.  Lots of teslas as usual, two Taycans, two Lucids, Rivian pickup and SUV.

Spotted in a shop on Magnolia Bl:  A really nice blue 68 Mustang GT/CS.

That's all paint, not a wrap.

This Bronco was grey and bone stock a few weeks ago when he picked it up.

Teslas waiting to charge up at the turnpike rest stop. Meanwhile I filled my car full of dead dinosaur juice and skeedaddled....BWAHAHAHAHHA!!!  -RRR

Ah, you've found the nest.  Now pour in some gas and set it alight!

While not technically "on the road" it had to have been driven to our local emporium of cheap, plastic c**p.

You have to wonder how it has been kept in such nice shape.

Certainly looks like genuine patina. Must have been kept in a very dry barn for a long time.

What's the Wagon behind the Toyota?

It's a Renault Talisman Grandtour. (Station wagon in Renault-language)

The wife and I were out for a drive yesterday and a Tesla truck passed us in the opposite lane.  Good thing that I keep a barf bag in the car. ?

Just saw a TANK on the highway. It was also on the back of a commercial truck and flatbed, nothin' military. Not somethin' you see everyday

saw one of those electric F150's.  driver must have been a former BMW bro, no use of turn signals, couldn't figure out which lane he wanted to be in, and at one point i thought he was going to split lanes.  this was the second one  iv seen in the last 2 weeks, and both had drivers that needed a swift kick in the butt by a cop.

Saw this absolutely SICK VW bug. I love the paint, wheels, and especially the tail pipe.20240624_192916.jpg.bee0c4f91e51fc0eed9838e1da3acc42.jpg

that tail pipe is called a stinger.  i used to run one on mine although mine wasn't bent up as high.  its good for making lot of noise, tripping people, and making working on the engine inconvenient.  also destroys low end torque.  you have to rev it up before you start letting the clutch out or the engine will bog.  best to leave those things for the race cars.

Read today where vandals have been stripping these charging stations of the copper wire. I don't condone that, but it does serve the same purpose.

Met a beautiful 67 Chevelle. It was light purple, tires all the way across the back, and a set of wheelie bars hanging under it. Looks like it just drove out of the AMT Chevelle Pro- Street box.  Of course I was heading in the other direction at a modest number above the posted and my telephone is strapped under my seatbelt, so I didn't get any pictures.
