Porscheman
This came this morning in the mail. I thought it was a good hot day to do a quick build. I primed it with Tamiya Grey Primer and then painted it Testors Grabber Blue and Wet Look Clear primer. Detailed the headlights using fine sharpies and Tamiya clear orange, just need a steady hand. The tail lights were also painted with Tamiya clear red over the prepainted one supplied. I had to lower the stance, which is very easy to do. A very nice simple kit. I only wish it had outside mirrors. Hope you like it. Al Edited July 8, 2014 by Porscheman

Scuderia
Dang that's nice! I'm gonna do one of these a lil jazzed up as well. I'm a lil nervous about doing the headlights though, but looks like you nailed it! Good stuff
model-collector
Great job! Love it, I can't wait to get going on mine! The headlights look great! What was the process of removing the silver paint? It's the one thing that is preventing me from starting. Once again great job, I can't wait to see more of these done.
Porscheman
Thanks guys. The headlights are a lot easier than it looks. 1st google 2015 Mustang images and get a good pic. of the headlights. Remove the pre-installed headlight by just prying them out. All the the sharpie work will be done on the outside of the lens, because they are painted silver on the inside. I used a large Sharpie to do the surround and an extra fine for defining the parking, turn signals and headlights. If you make a mistake, just polish it out and try again. It took me 2 minutes per side. Al
PappyD340
SAY WHAT? 4 hours complete WOW it would take me longer than that just to get the plastic wrap off the box looks FANTASTIC though!!

RandyB.
I have one of these coming as well and was planning to do the same thing. Is this model molded in red?
Scuderia
I have one of these coming as well and was planning to do the same thing. Is this model molded in red? Yeah it's molded in red but apparently can scuff-up and re-paint pretty easily with our skills.

Porscheman
Thanks everyone. This is a great kit for $9.50 and a must have for Mustang guys. With a little more work and mirrors. This can be an excellent replica. Al

Danno
4 hours? Unbelievable. Hard to imagine parting line cleanup, priming, primer drying, painting, color coat curing, clear-coating, clear coat curing enough to handle for final assembly without fingerprint embossing! Heck, it almost took four hours to type that out! Good job over all; great job considering the time element.
