Has there been any chatter about a kit version of the soon to be released 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT "Hellcat"?

If those of you who are not familiar with the "Hellcat" I have posted info about this factory warranted 707 hp supercharged 6.2 liter Hemi, four inter-coolers, torque-flite eight speed automatic car in the "General Topic" forum under the subject name"1:1 Mopar_Dodge`s Fastest Muscle Car Ever_2015 Challenger SRT "Hellcat".

The Hellcat even comes with factory installed dumps and 15.4 Brembos on all four corners.

Cannot wait to get this model on the workbench!!!

Yeah. They actually have to get the production car out yet. Not yet availible to order and it was supposed to be a couple weeks ago. Few things they need to change to keep the Feds happy

Well since the production car isn't out yet. I think we'll be waiting a year two.

Doesn't matter, if a tool rework look profitable for Revell they should go for it, even if the 1:1 concept can't make it through the FED's red tape.

And that means what ?

Fact, Tamiya released their version of the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ kit before or right as the real car went on sale, so if Revell/Round2 wanted too, and Fiat wanted to work with whomever, they could in fact release a Hellcat model before it goes into production or on sale , or at that the same time.

Tamiya worked with Toyota/Subaru to get the kit on the market at the same time as the 1:1 car went on sale to the public, it can be done, it just takes two willing parties

True..it definitely can be done. But look at Revell in recent years--very slow at getting new product out--it took them 2 years to get the '10 Camaro and Mustang out...over a year to get the '13 Boss 302 out...very slow...I just can't see Revell being that on the ball.

It wont take all that much for either Round2 or Revell really, seeing how they both have Challenger tooling.

It would probably be comparable to Revell doing the Boss 302. New front and rear fascias and trim, taillights, grille, headlights, engine, hood, interior, wheels, tires.
