Just wondering what you would like to see manufactured in large scale kits.

I wish that a '47 through late 1950's pick up truck was available in either Chevy or Ford in 1/16th.

Since we are dreaming here, I wish that some of the mid-1960's muscle cars were being kitted in 1/16. A '62 through '64 Impala with an SS option or a '64 through "67 Pontiac GTO with a Tempest and Le mans option would be stellar.

What do you wish was offered?

A current Funny Car or Top Fueler in 1/16th. That'll happen when I simultaneously hit the Lotto and start dating Zooey Deschanel.

Both HIGHLY unlikely.

The 1/8 Cobra is 3-D printed by TDR/Shape ways and costs hundreds if dollars, maybe over 1k.

I would like to see a 1/8 scale '29 Ford roadster or Tudor sedan, either as an all new tool or as a modified reissue of the Big Deuce; just a new body for the deuce frame.

I think a 1/6 scale Suzuki Hayabusa would be an awesome addition to Tamiya's big bike lineup. Lots of different ways to build that one.

I just plain wish there was more selection in engines and running gear in 1/8 scale. stuff that could be used with the current monogram line. reissue of the big drag definitely. maybe even some Ferrari or other exotics in 1/8 scale.

There are both GM and Ford products in 1/12 scale (though there could always be more!), but I'd really like to see a MOPAR product in 1/12 scale, such as a version of the new Cuda that Revell put out recently.

I build in 16th scale and I build my wish list. Mostly 50"s GM, Ford, and Dodge........I also have amassed a collection of molds to build any engine I need for them,

I have made 57 and 55 Chevy's into Buick's, Oldsmobile's, Fords ect..... I find it very satisfying to build what I like instead of just what it there. Most of the conversions are really simple and believable......something most people that have modified any kit can do.

I guess 1/8 scale might give you some chance to build the chassis framework (and before anyone posts it, yes I have seen that fantastic teeny-tiny scale one with the photoetch "birdcage"). But if servicing a 1:1 required cutting out the odd tube and welding it back, the instructions for a 1/8th had better be a peach!

Personally, I think I'd go with 1/12th -- I've got the big Airfix Bentley, and it feels like a nice compromise between 1/16th (a bit too small for a "big boy") and 1/8th (just too big)

I'd like an E-Type as well; a DB4GT, an XK120, a 250SWB and GTO, and Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale, a Bentley Continental S1 Mulliner Coupe, a BMW 507... you get the gist...

bestest,

M.

1/12 scale `70 -`72 Chevelle, Olds 442, Buick GSX, or Super Duty Trans Am (lots of options if combined with the Corvette and Camaro kits)

1/12 Hemi or AAR Cuda, `70 Challenger T/A

1/12 69 Mustang, or maybe a `67 with optional "Elaenor" parts?

1/12 `63 corvette, maybe converted from the `67 kit with small block parts from the Camaro kit?

1/8 Trans Am re-release!

Above converted into a `77-`78 Trans Am, or a `77-`81 Z28

It would be cool if Revell would modify their 1/16 Firebird GTA into a third gen Firehawk, and the 1/16 IROC-Z into a `91-`92 Z28

Would also be cool if they would convert the 1/8 IROC kit into a GTA or Firehawk, or maybe even a formula?

Any 4th gen f-body, especially a Camaro SS, Trans Am WS-6 or firehawk, in say 1/12?

Large scale 2014 Corvette!

1/12 Revell `57 Chevy kit converted to a `56 or `55

ACCURATE large scale Ferrari 288 GTO

If you were willing to spend a couple hundred bucks, check eBay for the Doyusha '73 Trans Am. It has some inaccuracies due to liberties taken so it could potentially be motorized, but otherwise it builds up into a nice kit with opening everything, working steering, and working suspension. It could probably easily be modified to be a Trans Am SD.

Since Monogram has released the Deuce and T- Bucket in 1/8 scale, I would like them to repop the engine kit with all the various options. It been tempting to get an original, yet the price remains a bit high. Is this mold still available? It would spurn some more sales for the other two kits!

Cheers Misha
