Nice model.

You'd think BMW could have put a little more styling effort into the body cladding around the wheel wells. Looks pretty amateurish.

I have no interest in 1:1 street BMWs but it is the styling of these DTM cars that attracts me to them. They seem to apply a backyard hot rod ethos to the design, although I guess they are wind tunnel tested. For example, they simply cut away 6 to 8 inches from the bottom of the doors to accommodate exhausts/aerodynamic aids, similar to Stone, Woods and Cook removing several inches from the bottom of their coupe to save weight.

Thanks Glenn, I was lucky, the wet coats went down smooth and no dust bunnies - just a light polish is all it needed.
