High octane Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 The Atari games are only worth what you can get for them, no more.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 The Atari games are only worth what you can get for them, no more. I've since had an offer for $175.
High octane Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 You shoulda takin' the money and ran. Now you're lookin' for a buyer.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 You shoulda takin' the money and ran. Now you're lookin' for a buyer. I'm making preparations to send it. Nice profit for me, since I paid nothing for them.
slusher Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Had a wonderful Christmas eve at home with my wife and son. Christmas day will be with my mother. Wish my brothers could have made it this year. Seems so hard to get everyone together at one time the older we get...
Joe Handley Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 (edited) Just saw this, thought it was clever. Edited December 26, 2014 by Joe Handley
High octane Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 It pleased me that I was able to spray paint my current build outside today, and hopefully I can clear it outside tomorrow as well. When the weather turns to carp, I'll have to spray inside. The good news is that I have a couple other bodies already painted also, which should carry me through the winter months.
cobraman Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 My daughter loves to go shooting whenever she makes it out here from San Diego for a visit. So, today I loaded up some firearms and ammo and stuff and off we went to a shooting spot in the desert. One of the firearms I took was a 12 gauge pump shotgun that I never had fired. Both my wife and daughter wanted to try it. Keep in mind neither are new to guns. After shooting a couple of 22's and a couple 9mm's they wanted to give the 12 ga. a try. Wife was first and after one shot was done. She didn't like it. Next my daughter. She loved it and after blowing up some pop cans she asked if I would toss up a clay. We normally use them for 22 targets so I had a bunch with me. I tossed one up knowing she would never really hit it. BAM ! She nailed it ! I was shocked. I tossed up a total of 6 and she hit five of them. I was surprised and proud. Not bad for a lawyer ! : )
hgbben Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Very cool Ray. I paid off my car today. Have a little more breathing room each month
Agent G Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 My last ever child support payment went out! Now all I have left is to split three semesters of nursing school tuition with the ex. G
James2 Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 I'm pleased this thread is still going! And only 153 more pages needed to over take the negative thought evoking Irked thread...
Joe Handley Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Thinking I'm finally over what hit me Christmas Eve night! We had Portillo's last night and I mistakenly ordered a Big Beef......and only finished 1/4 of it and wasn't sure it if was going to stay down. Just finished it and still had a piece of pumpkin pie and some potato chips.
crazyjim Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I hate you, Billy Joe. Portillo's!!!! The plan is to up at Pheasant Run in May for my ViêtNow national convention. Portillo's and Gianorio's Pizza when I'm up there. Maybe even take a few pounds of beef home with me.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Just joined the '15 Cannonball! Incentive to finish something in the coming year, huh?
Belugawrx Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Sitting in the sunroom ...without a sweater!! With the heater going it's.....wait for it .....65* Beer is still cold tho Cheers
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 First you need to know that I hate snow! I mean it. I really hate snow. But, the night before last we got a nice snowfall. Maybe 2" or 3". Enough to look nice, but at the same time it was easy to shovel and blow. And it wasn't bitterly cold and/or windy right afterwards. If snow came like this every time it comes, I may learn to tolerate it. Not like it. But, tolerate it. At least that's a step in the right direction. I think? Scott
High octane Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Scott, learning to tolerate snow is a step in the right direction which is good. Last winter was bitter for us, however I did change my attitude about winter and it did help noticeably.
Ramfins59 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Today is my 46th wedding anniversary. We'll be going to the Outback Steak House and use the Gift Card that our daughter gave us for Christmas. I'm looking forward to an excellent meal. Afterwards I'll get back down to my workbench to do some more work on the '56 Chrysler.
