Cool!

Equinox?

My Mom, bought a 2024 Equinox last year.

Chevrolet Traverse RS. Little bigger than an Equinox and a little smaller than the Tahoe. Black inside and out, the RS package blacks out the chrome, black rims, AWD, all leather, two seat second row, dual pane sunroof and Chevy super cruise.

Super! I live in the Desert, so Triple Black Cars are Microwave Ovens on wheels, but I understand how awesome they look.

Enjoy the New Ride!

Even here in the Midwest my black on black honda civic gets HOT! You have to have your windows rolled down or you will boil alive. That's why I love my remote window crack button the newer hondas have, press the unlock then quickly click and hold it again.

Yes, in Ohio my black on black Cadillac gets warm. Esp w/ the pano sunroof.  Good thing I have ventilated seats and cold AC.    My black on tan Jeep can get warm also (and I bought it in the desert).

My youngest graduates on Wednesday and his last day was this past Thursday.  The school send a Senior Survey....not sure if it was for the students or the parents as well but the wife and I received it in our e-mail so its for game.  Don't wanna know, don't ask!!  Survey asked about the view on security.  Low score for letting the kid who made the Facebook threat of shooting up the school come back after spending time in juvie!  And a second offense of a threat directly towards a teacher.  His first offense should have been expulsion/prohibited from school grounds.  Final question was what I change.....I said the entire office staff!!  Mispelled his name on an award Junior year, marking him absent when the golf team had matches, a clerical error that took over a month to clear and I had to go to the Superintendent to fix, absentee calls when we tell them (live person) the day before his college visit.  His last day was Thursday....I got an absentee call yesterday and Progress alert this morning for something he didn't turn in yesterday.

Sounds like the schools' administrative staff need to go back to school themselves.

It reminds me of the car used in Republic of Doyle but that was a 68 GTO.

New car smell!!!...Leather trimmed seats and interior... After 357,000 miles on her 2010 Toyota RAV4, we bought my wife a beautiful blue 2025 RAV4 Premium. We've had it a week and I finally got to drive it today (Saturday, May 24, 2025)... The more I'm around this car the more I like it!!!

Originally had a radio; right now has a hole in the dash for one, with the wires neatly tucked in there in order to easily just plug one in. So needs both radio/antenna. The car actually isn't 100%, the guy who restored this car and all his others did only the main parts of the resto, but left litte small things out. The car currently still needs: horn, wiper motor, washer apparatus, A/C (yes this car has factory A/C) front side marker lights, and rear trunk emblem. Minor things but needs a horn and wiper motor for mechanical/safety. So it is a bit of a 1:1 project car so I'll probably put any updates on that thread located in the General Automotive section of the forum.

Yes that's what we were all thinking too; though I do really like the GTO in that show maybe a little more than our own LeMans

Awesome,  I happen to like a Lemans more than Gto as you don't see them as often.  Most Lemans were cloned into gto's. Very cool car you got, there's a ton of reproduction parts available to fill in the missing bits and pieces.  O.P.G.i. is one I know of, they reproduce many GM parts.

Yeah, the guy who previously owned this car was going to do a GTO conversion, but changed his mind; thank goodness. I totally like LeMans and even Tempest better than GTO because they’re essentially the same car but you can get GTO essence for cheap if you buy LeMans/Tempest. This particular car also has a front bench seat, and power drum brakes front and rear. Probably going to change to front discs for more safety and easier braking. But unfortunately it will be a while before I can actually drive the car. We’re insured through Hagerty now, but for me I had to be excluded from that insurance until I get a full G licence and a vehicle in my own name. So the plan is to get the license and hopefully buy my dad’s truck so he can get a new one, and so I’ll have a vehicle in my name. 🤦‍♂️ Just  the way it is I guess.

That'll give you time to acquire the necessary money/parts to have it ready or close to ready when you're finally able to drive it. My father and I worked 3 years to repair what became my '65, I turned 18 and he signed the registration over to me. You're starting with a MUCH nicer condition vehicle.
