I was able to attend the grand opening of another Portillo's restaurant today and it was a great time, oh yeah the food was great also. This place can be habit forming, hmmmmmmm.

Sounds good to me. Lets get Ed on board !

I really don't go out to eat very often and I'd be suprised if one of'em open near to us anytime soon. Besides just why leave home when the view from the backyard can provide this view

And even my Wife who likes traveling admits the Food here is Better than most of what she eats while traveling. Last night we had something like this which was topped with fresh chopped Basil

The there's my Hickory Smoked for an hour then Grilled Chicken

Either washed down with a choice from here

I also cook Asian including Thai/Vietnamese (Ish) Southwest and yep I do Slow Smoke Ribs Pork Butt n Brisket. But if I find myself up in Tempe that Beef Sausage dose sound good!

Mmmmm   mmmm...love that Shiner Bock too. Don't see it here any more. :(

You need to talk to your Critical Fluids Supplier then!! I was introduced to it while my Wife and I were on a Road Trip. We were in San Antonio Texas and having lunch at a place on the River Walk. I like to try out new (to me) Beers and have been making sure none neare me go stale since then. Even stopped at the Brewery on our way to Galveston - BTW it's a Lot Nicer Drive from Shiner to Houston on the road East of Shiner via Halletsville than I-10 if one ain't i a hurry!!

Ed, no Moutain Dew in that refrigerator above!? I don't see how you can survive living like that!

The Top shelf is mainly for the Delivery Folks (I also asked them if they needed Ice and/or water for their Water Jugs). A habit I got into when I ran a business outta here. I got deliveries regardless of the road conditions when others waited a couple of days. Wow, Mountain Dew - I haven't drank that in Years. Note to self Get Some Mountain Dew and give it a try!

It pleased me that I didn't leave the house today.  I was able to work from home on Friday the 13th.  Avoided bad luck and nothing went wrong!

Oh, and it was windy all day which knocked the rest of the leaves from most trees, and then blew them away!

Finding that the "Check Engine" warning light on my Saab Convertible was not a real fault and cured by being switched off by the diagnostic check made by professional mechanic son.

Excellent turnout at the ACME NNL Southeast event today. Last time I heard, over 600 models registered. Very high quality overall, again an improvement over last year's crop...which was an improvement over the previous year's etc. Some of the models looked so good, I almost wonder why I even bother. Really impressive stuff there...really.

Model-car-building does indeed seem to be in a golden period, once again.

Got to meet the world-famous Norm from RepMin too, and finally stocked up on all of the bits I've been lusting after. Saved a couple of gluey relics, cheap, and took home a few new kits to boot.

First ACME event I've been to in many months...time constraints...but I couldn't pass this one by.:D
