DeeCee Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 That is one tidy build there mate, like the color.
Danno Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 It's very nice! Could use a license plate and an antenna to look finished.
mangodart Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Really nice, you make me wanting to build mine !!! Great
Harry P. Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Thanks guys. R. Scott Aho,the color is Tamiya TS-58 on white primer. Harry P,the distributor cap is matte light grey, and the distributor is silver. Cap should be black, body tan. A google image search is a modeler's best friend.
gtx6970 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Cap should be black, body tan. A google image search is a modeler's best friend. Actually, In 1964 the cap is black ( tan caps arived in 1966 ( maybe late 1965) Dist should also be black , as the OE dist used was supplied by prestolite , which were painted black steel housings
gtx6970 Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Beautiful, but aren't the heater hoses on the wrong side? nope, they are right for the year
om617 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Thanks! I`ll change the color. I did not really find any decent referance photos of this particular engine original.
Jon Cole Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Hey, looks real fine! Just a good choice of color.
ChrisBcritter Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Sharp build on a sharp kit. Wonder why MCG - or anyone else - hasn't made a photoetch set for the '64 Plymouth? (With correct Sport Fury emblems, hint hint.)
mikemopar70 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Your Belevdere is very nice! I like this clean build!!
Maxicoop Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I find it very hard for me to build stock cars .......but that is a beautiful build !!!!!!
10thumbs Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 That is a beautiful 64, I think Plymouth's best looking model. Do the front wheels turn on the Lindberg Plymouth? Turned wheels make a real nice stance for photos. Very clean build and looks right. Michael
peekay Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 This is one I missed but I like it VERY MUCH INDEED!!!
