blunc
pontiac 350 was standard issue in the Esprits (as far as I know). which means just about any pontiac kit v8 will do depending on how blobular you can stand.

astroracer
My 1st car was a '73 Esprit. Florentine red metallic with a white interior and vinyl top. 350 2bbl and single exhaust. E70-14's on the Rallye II rims. I still have the car although it's been "enhanced" a bit. Right now it has most of a 14pt cage and no trunk floor or inner wheel wheels. i started Pro-Streeting it in '87 due to rusted out spring mounts and rear wheel wells. Never finished it.Mark
ChrisPflug
Got some paint on it though quite a bit of orange peel (maybe lemon peel?)
Bob Ellis
It may be a humidity problem with the paint. I have that problem here in Massachusetts. Some lacquers evaporate so fast that water condenses. On the other hand, you may be able to polish it smooth. I have been using Krylon clear over the paint and it has been giving a shiny appearance. That is a nice color. I am sure it will look great when you are done.
