ERIK88 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Very nice model, looks very clean. I like the yellow paint job. Nice stance and choice of tires
unclescott58 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Ah, a Miami Vice Corvette Daytona. Not the real thing, but nice non the less. Scott
Belugawrx Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Love the Cheetah hide seats! Great 3rd model Well done Cheers
dbbycreations Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 thanks for the positive input guys.I know it came with chevy engine,so I built it that way
blunc Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 well, since the Miami Vice Daytona's were fiberglas over a Vette chassis it's the proper engine for this build. I like the treatment on the seats also.
michael1969 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Like it alot. Looks great. One question...is the tilt(camber) on the front how the model builds or did you add it to get the stance? I'm not nit picking, just looking for a heads up for the one I have. I hope mine turns out as nice as yours.
peekay Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Nice. If this is your third model then you have real talent.
Maxicoop Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 your third model and my third model aren't even in the same world ........ mine had glue all over it ....LOL you did a beautiful job on your build.... love the seats !!!
dbbycreations Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Didn't notice the tilt camber until we looked back at the pic, thanks again
ERIK88 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Tilt camber looks good specially know adays . Seems like everyone is doing it on their 1/1's
Captain Obvious Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Your third build is better than my current builds, and I've been at it off and on for 35 years lol. That looks fantastic, I love the details you added to "girl it up". I especially like the panel lines, what is your technique to darkening them?
dbbycreations Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Used a thin black wash, trailed it with very fine brush along lines letting it flow in ever so carefully lol
