Jantrix
I'm not sure if I've ever posted this before. It's the AMT '40 Panel build circa 1990, and was my first foray into scratchbuilding/customizing and detailing a model. Paint is Pactra Lightning Purple. Please forgive any mechanical/electrical mistakes. I did a 3" channel on the hood, and then trimmed the same amount from the bottom of the panel body, the result is a poor fit around the rear fenders. The rear door is gullwinged and hinged. The chassis has a lot of scratchbuilding and it's a bit out of scale. I learned a lot from this build. The wheels/tires are Fugimi's. As always, any comments or criticisms are welcome. Chuck Most
It's held up pretty well- not only in terms of the model itself, but the style in which it's built. Very nice!

Jantrix
Thanks guys. I appreciate the ataboys. It was built in the day of monochromatic billet rods, but I gotta have some contrast. Ill post up some more oldies later on.
DynoMight
Model still looks good. As for the fender fit, oh well, what can you do? Love the wheels. Can we have a couple pics of the door and interior?
Jantrix
The rear door opens upward but the interior is pretty unremarkable. It's at my Dads place it'll be a few weeks before I see it again.

Sixties Sam
Looks good! Great color, and I like the sectioning/trimming work. Fender fit doesn't look too bad to me. Good work! Sam
