I'm not sure if I've ever posted this before. It's the AMT '40 Panel build circa 1990, and was my first foray into scratchbuilding/customizing and detailing a model. Paint is Pactra Lightning Purple. Please forgive any mechanical/electrical mistakes. I did a 3" channel on the hood, and then trimmed the same amount from the bottom of the panel body, the result is a poor fit around the rear fenders. The rear door is gullwinged and hinged. The chassis has a lot of scratchbuilding and it's a bit out of scale. I learned a lot from this build. The wheels/tires are Fugimi's. As always, any comments or criticisms are welcome.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the ataboys. It was built in the day of monochromatic billet rods, but I gotta have some contrast. Ill post up some more oldies later on.

The rear door opens upward but the interior is pretty unremarkable. It's at my Dads place it'll be a few weeks before I see it again.
