I have no answer to that question.

Yes Wayne, that's a '27T roadster, the ultimate hot rod IMHO. Slugging my way through my Highboy model as I am right now, based on the ubiquitous resin body that's out there, it's a real challenge scratchin' and adaptin' my way to completion. This is my second '27 T roadster model and I could sure do with a kit to start from!

I have had a few conversations with a very reputable resin caster and quite possibly he may be able to come up with a few key parts for us (windshield frame, interior bits, etc.). Fingers crossed!

Different horses for different courses....

What you want kitted doesn't necessarily mean anyone else does...

Yeah, it's not as if it's one of THE American hot-rod icons, or anything stupid like that. It's just some dumb old car only of interest to almost-dead guys.

There have been several done in resin that are quite serviceable. It would be a no-brainer for Round Two to tool a body to go with the touring kit. I hardly buy any kits but I would certainly buy one of those.

You mean like this one?

That's a '25 T. The body is quite different with the bucket portion sharply defined and separate from the turtle deck. The result is a car with a significantly different look to it, with less potential for a sleek, streamli9ned look as seen on some of the track nose examples illustrated above.

Probably....

Tell me again why we don't have a kit of this car ?

Because it somehow never occurs to the folks who run AMT that spending a few bucks to tool up a roadster body/deck, top and seat for the '27 T touring car they've been selling for the last fifty years might get some more life out of that tool?

Pure genius. I hope someone is listening.

If you want something bad enough, you'll find a way to build it on your own. ;)

I just happened to find a vacuum-molded clear slot-car '26 / '27 body. We'll see what materializes...

I've also made a bucket of this particular vintage by cutting down the AMT touring-car body.

I must be an almost-dead guy.

dittto,

no interest no matter how iconic

BUT, if we all liked the same thing it would be kinda boring
