Ramfins59
Thanks Terry. I too love all of the cars from the '50's. Christopher, no I usually will not modify any of the promos that I redo other than paint, BMF, mirrors and antenna's.... and adding whitewall tires. geetee66
I dig it, Rich! In fact, I love most 1959 cars, as they seemed to peak in their styling excess before the new decade. As always, you have built another beautiful car. I duly doff my cap.
Ramfins59
Thank you Dave and Guy, I appreciate your kind words. Yes Guy, the cars from 1959 were the epitome of gaudy styling excesses, although I think the 1958 cars had them beat with chrome and stainless trim. I love them all.. StevenGuthmiller
Thank you Dave and Guy, I appreciate your kind words. Yeah....it's kind of a toss up between '58 & '59 isn't it. Although I think the designers of the cars in '59 must have been on something. Only someone who's tripping a little could possibly come up with a '59 Caddy or Buick! Steve
Ramfins59
Yeah Steve, in '59 the designers seemed to be trying to outdo each other with the "space age" styling of fins. I think the '59 Oldsmobile was one of the oddest looking cars while to me the '59 Ford was the tamest of them all.

Quick GMC
Is the A Pillar broken on the driver's side? It's a very nice build. I am finishing up a Ferrari F40 and I broke both A Pillars while polishing. They're so easy to damage.
mangodart
Nice 59, when could we have a brand new kit of this magnificent 50ies model ??
Ramfins59
Thank you Danno, Cameron & Emmanuel. Cameron, no the A pillar was not broken. I try to be gentle when polishing so I don't break any of the roof pillars. Emmanuel, I seriously doubt that a new kit of this car will be made. We'll just have to be lucky to pick up one of these promos. Edited September 8, 2014 by Ramfins59

BirdWatcher
Great job Rich! Beautimus! As you know, I'm more partial to the 60's and 70's Mopars, but builds like yours make it difficult for me not to appreciate the beauty of the older Mopar styling.
