crazyjim Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I'm confused. The box says Thames panel truck but the Revell website lists this kit under car. I guess the mods will move it if necessary. The Thames is finished in HOK snowhite pearl on top and HOK medium teal on the bottom. The front & rear suspension components have been modified to lower the vehicle. Street exhaust out of the headers, Recaro bucket seats. I didn't use the kit fuel injection because I don't believe it would be very streetable, so dual quads went on.
crazyjim Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 Man, that was a quick reply. Thank you Andy.
mike 51 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) I wish they would bring this kit and/or the Anglia up to modern standards like they did with the 40 Willys.... Edited September 20, 2014 by mike 51

Ace-Garageguy Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Cool little truck. Love the colors and overall look.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Like the colors. Nice to see on done as a street rod.
GasPunkAlley Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Do you have any pics of the chassis and suspension that you used / modified?
unclescott58 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Great job on a tough model to build. Looks nice. Scott
maltsr Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Do you have any pics of the chassis and suspension that you used / modified? Nice build Jim, looks like you narrowed the front suspension?
Snake45 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Beautiful build and I like your VN rear plate. Sat Cong! Where did you get it, or did you make it? I had to paint it on this one myself. Decals are now available but they weren't when I built it. Again, great work. I really like this little street freak! Model on!
crazyjim Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 Thank you all very much. The rear suspension was modified by leaving off the springs and cutting slots in the chassis for the traction bars to set up into. All I did in the front was cut a slot up into the wheel wells and narrow the axle.
